Certificates arrive in school around November. Students will have a certificate from each exam board for which they sat exams.
According to JCQ regulations, the school is only obliged to keep certificates for a year and after that time they can be destroyed or sent back to the exam board.
Replacement certificates are expensive, and must be ordered directly from the exam boards, so the school strongly encourages students to collect their certificates soon after they arrive.
GCSE certificates
For students who have moved into the Sixth Form, their certificates will be distributed to in school time.
A level certificates
Students and parents/carers will be sent information about how to receive certificates. They can be collected from Reception until November of the following year.
Alternatively, students and parents/carers can request that the certificates are posted out. This will incur a small charge for the cost of postage which is payable via ParentPay. If this option is taken it is important to ensure that we have the current address on our records.
