Contract:Part-time (two days per week), working term-time plus INSET days 8am until 4pm with a 30 minute break
Salary: National Joint Council Pay Spine Point 4 (£25,185 per annum pro rata) Prorated salary, 15 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, £8,655 per annum

About the Role:
As the face and voice of our school, you will be at the heart of our daily operations, providing a warm welcome and efficient support to all visitors, students, and staff. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same.
Key responsibilities will include:

Greeting all visitors, students, and staff in a professional and courteous manner.

Managing a busy telephone, answering calls, taking messages, and directing enquiries appropriately.

Handling incoming and outgoing post and deliveries.

Providing general administrative support.

Managing student sign-in/sign-out procedures for late arrivals or early leavers.

Managing the sign-in/sign-out of visitors, issuing security badges, checking identity, and notifying the appropriate members of staff.

Assisting with absence calls to parents and carers.

Ensuring the highest levels of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our students.

Professional, discrete, and able to handle confidential information sensitively.

Proficient in using Microsoft Office.

Empathetic and patient, with a genuine interest in supporting young people.
Previous experience in a school or a similar customer-facing reception is desirable, but more important is the right attitude and a willingness to learn.
