During Key Stage 3, students are encouraged to become proficient in their skills and techniques, learning how to apply them in different activities.
Students are helped to make progress in the following areas: outwitting opponents; accurate replication; exploring emotions and ideas; performing at maximum levels and safe and effective learning.

Extra Curricular Activities
A wide range of opportunities throughout the year; Competitions at area and county level.
- Students are assessed at the end of each unit of work, for each of the 5 aspects of the P.E. curriculum.
- Students are awarded an overall grade at the end of the academic year.
- Year 7 students are expected to achieve a Level 4c-4a; Year 8 students are expected to achieve a Level 5c-5a; Year 9 students are expected to achieve a Level 6c-6a.
- We expect students to make 3 sub levels progress per year.
