ARMISTICE DAY

ARMISTICE DAY

To mark this important occasion, all students in school took part in an armistice assembly delivered remotely to their forms. At 11.00 am, one form group, 8R, walked silently to the Millenium Clock and flagpole to take part in our Remembrance ceremony . James Holding of Form 8N read ‘The Fallen’ and the ‘Kohima Epitaph’. Timmy Crowson of 10M played ‘The Last Post’. The wreath was laid by Warrant Officer First Class ( Royal Logistics Corps) Stephen Cocking. Mr Cocking is our Facilities Manager with 25 years service in the forces. Boyan Wei of 8R laid another wreath on behalf of the students in school as a symbol of remembrance, thanksgiving and also of hope for future generations.
