The Ecclesbourne School submitted a planning application to Amber Valley Borough Council this week as part of our on-going plans to provide our students with first class sporting facilities.  The project is intended to deliver a sports complex which, in its initial phase, will include a sports hall, teaching room, fitness suite and dance studio. The new building will be on the main school site on Wirksworth Road and the project will not involve the sale of any school land.  

Our staff and students have made the best of inadequate sporting facilities for many years and the new sports complex, with an anticipated opening date during autumn 2013, will be an important improvement to our provision for the school and the community.
