Jan Sprenger took this photograph for her CDT project on school uniforms. The only name she could remember was third from left, Ann Lucas. However, Sarah Cox recognised Joanna Cox, now Joanna Ball, who is on the extreme left. Sarah writes that she is living on a beach in New Zealand with her husband Clive and that she was considered to be a bit wild at the time

On uniforms, Jan writes:
"Mrs Haslam (aka The Bag) used to stand at the doors of the School Hall as we filed out of assembly looking us up and down for illegal jewellery, make-up, tights (must be American Tan) hem levels etc. We used to wear skirts “legally” for assembly then roll the waist band over a few times to meet the needs of 70’s fashion."
