Michael Pollard writes - "Mrs. Hilliard was the only person from school who actively encouraged our musical outpourings, letting us rehearse at her house (Nick, one of her sons was in the band at various times) and she even played our first recordings (made when we were 12 years old and which I still have) at an Art Fair held in the school in Xmas 1971 (I think)."
Michael also remembers that Peter Whitehead was playing drums at this rehearsal, which took place in King Street, Duffield.
